Welcome to the Imperial English UK website.
Thank you for visiting the Imperial English UK ELT website.
We are a friendly organisation, and think of the students as our family.
Birmingham has many things to see and do, and it is near many popular tourist attractions. The city also has excellent railway links to all of the cities in the UK, including London.
The Imperial English UK ELL courses are in the Birmingham Midland Institute building, which is in the city centre. Please see the course information section for more detail.
Since 2010 all our full-time English language students who want to study at university in the UK have gone on to higher education foundation, undergraduate or post graduate programmes. Many students stay in the area to study at local universities and visit us. They also recommend Imperial English UK to their friends and relatives so we really are one big family.
I hope the website answers your questions. If you need further information, please contact us.
We hope to see you soon!

Vice Principal

All students must take an Initial Assessment before starting classes.
The test helps you and the teachers see your level, your strengths and weaknesses, and decide which class will be best for you.
This helps to establish your study plans. After completing the Initial Assessment Test, you can have feedback. Students benefit greatly from the feedback sessions as they are able to identify their strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement. This helps you set targets.
Students who stay three months or longer can work towards a Imperial English UK English Language Certificate or Diploma by keeping a portfolio of writing, presentations, projects and other work.
We understand that you cannot study well if you are worried about bank accounts and accommodation or you are feeling homesick. The administration staff are friendly and supportive and are always willing to help with registrations, applications and other personal paperwork queries.
Please note that the Organisation does not provide accommodation for students, however we can advise and assist you with making appointments and communicating with agents and landlords.
